Motion Sensor tracking

I want to introduce you to a great new product that I’ve been helping the 4D Motion people develop. This is a game changer relative to the development of your pitchers Drive Speed/Drive Mechanics. It is very easy to use. As you can see in the screenshot below, I was able to do 14 pitch captures in 11 minutes….and this included me instructing different drive techniques. This young lady started out at 4.2 m/s (meters per second of peak linear drive speed) and we were able to get her up to 4.8 m/s in this one lesson……that is a huge gain. The Peak Linear speed of the pelvis is the peak speed your pitcher moves off the rubber in her forward drive. This will directly correlate to ball pitch speed.

Note the screenshot below of the Metrics screen that pops up within 5 seconds of the pitch being completed. It’s complete with efficient ranges and the ranges are vary depending on if your pitcher is a College/Pro, High School, or Junior.

This product is very easy to use and set up on a pitcher. It’s one sensor attached to her skin with a double-sided sticky….on her spine…in line with her hips. There is no tricky calibration or testing required. Stick it on and go!

Currently the product is for your pitchers to purchase and use on their own at home.

Coming soon will be a Coach version that you would benefit from greatly. With the Coach version, your students data captured at home can be connected to your App so you can track her progress.
